H-Series Subwoofers

The H218s is a horn loaded sub bass loudspeaker with two 18″ long excursion drivers as its engine. Keeping in mind maximum energy transfer, the H218s is best when used in stacks of 4 (or at least 2). In the former case, the geometry and radiation area achieves near 0.71 circa (for 40Hz) which results in a phenomenal amount of energy at the front relative to the rear (a case very useful when we want sound where it is needed). The H218s has been a sure winner when used for EDM events in bars, nightclubs and dance festivals. Preferred to be driven actively, the H218s sub can effortlessly achieve very high sound pressure levels with nominal amplification. The H218s is recommended for use with the H112 horn mid-top in the ratio 2 subs to every 2 tops.
